Bath is city with much to offer historically. It is a compact city with most attractions being within walking distance of the city centre. Bath has a thriving Arts scene and, as well as the common high street shops also has an array of quaint and unusual shops hiding in its back streets. Bath has the only natural hot springs in the country and was first discovered by the Romans. Today they are named the Roman Baths. The famous Bath Abbey is definitely worth a visit.
